Goreme Panoramic View: This viewpoint offers a stunning panoramic view of the Goreme National Park, which is famous for its unique rock formations and fairy chimneys. Visitors can see the entire landscape from this vantage point, including the cave dwellings and rock-cut churches.
Pigeon Valley: Pigeon Valley is named after the thousands of pigeon houses carved into the cliffs. These were used to collect pigeon droppings for fertilizer, and the birds themselves were also a source of food. Today, the valley is a popular hiking destination, with scenic trails and stunning views.
Underground City: Cappadocia is famous for its underground cities, which were carved into the soft volcanic rock. These cities were used as shelters by early Christians to escape persecution, and some of them are open to visitors today. The most famous of these is the Derinkuyu underground city, which is over 18 stories deep.
Ihlara Valley: This valley is famous for its rock-cut churches and stunning scenery. Visitors can hike along the river and explore the numerous cave churches, which are decorated with beautiful frescoes.
Selime Monastery: This is one of the largest and most impressive rock-cut monasteries in Cappadocia. The complex includes a church, a monastery, and living quarters, all carved into the rock. Visitors can climb to the top of the monastery for a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape.
Belisirma Village: This charming village is located on the banks of the Melendiz River and is known for its traditional stone houses and scenic setting. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the village and sample some of the local cuisine at the restaurants along the river.
